This west coast gym chain is a great value—but don't mistake it for cheap or low budget. These refreshed gyms are solid fitness options worth considering.
Functional turf areas can be found at all 7 Vim+Vigor gyms, providing a central workout area for sleds, stretching, free weights and more.

Thousands of members likely love what Vim+Vigor has to offer, but we spotted a few things we'd like to see improved.
There's a pool and cold plunge at their Riverside (Canyon Crest) location—something we'd love to see at other locations. They designate this as their highest end Athletic Club, which also features towel service and a higher monthly membership price.
None of their gyms are open 24/7, which is typically an easier service to add (vs the pool, steam room, or basketball). Still, many of their locations are open at 4/5:00am—enough for the majority of their members.
No childcare options here, which may be a deal breaker for parents looking for a fitness spot. They'll need to find another set of eyes to watch their kids while they workout.

Conversely, the opening hours for Vim+Vigor may not be as widespread as their competition, but as always: that's a decision you'll have to weigh out.
